How You Rebuild Your Confidence When You Have Suffered A Painful Rejection
When any relationship finishes it causes pain for the partner who didn't want it to end, as no matter what you tell the next person, a mutual split is very rare. Sometimes a relationship ending can really damage your confidence and leave you feeling resentful or mistrusting of people. This means that ending a relationship damages you and your potential to find someone else and facing the possibility of another rejection can chip away at your confidence and lead to bad decisions and diminishing confidence in your ability to attract a partner. Ask your closest friends if there was anything you could change to help yourself appeal to other people romantically. Making an effort with hair or a new wardrobe can help you transform yourself, which helps with the healing process and building of confidence.
Confidence is a key part of finding true love because unless you can see what you have to offer someone as a lover and friend and know what you are worth as a person, the other person will not see it either. Having a positive attitude to finding someone special and the possibility of love will give off and radiate and attract someone who is also ready for love. To help build this positivity, look in the mirror every day and tell yourself something you like about yourself. This will help you see yourself through other people's eyes. Taking any anxiety and frustration into dating or finding someone new will inevitably attract people who feed on weak and insecure people.
So if you are feeling that the rejection of a lover has left you feeling low then practice flirting in safe environments like over the internet or with friends just to remind yourself that you are attractive to people and have lots to offer the right person. Don't go on dates until you really feel that you have regained your self esteem a little because finding the right person is also a matter of timing and knowing your ready for something a little more serious only happens when you have let go of all the previous pains of rejection.

Online Dating For Women
There is nothing quite like the thought of a first date to give a woman an anxiety attack or worse, wanting to cancel. Even the most confident of women find themselves nervous at the thought of going on a blind date for the first time. Never bring a man to your place of residence that you haven't met. Since most women are looking for love, it's that aspect alone that adds extra pressure to each and every date they go on. There are a few dating tips to keep in mind for your next date, especially if sparks flew during your initial meeting.
Be yourself. Don't try and be someone you're not. Do not try and be someone you think he wants, or try too hard to make him fall in love with you. Also, if it's a first date don't experiment with hair, make-up, etc.you may end up with a look you do not like and you may not have the time now to change it before you set off to meet him wherever you agreed to, hopefully a public place. However, you still want to look good, so always try to look your best when looking for love.
Stay in shape. Being healthy and in shape will make you more attractive to the men you date and at the same time will boost your self esteem and how you look at yourself. Working out to look fit, however you choose to do it, usually pays off in the end. Don't rush to have sex with a guy you just met even if you sense that's what he wants. Make sure that's what you want and feel ready. Sleeping with someone too soon often does more harm than good to a relationship. Do not tell him your whole life story on that first date. By remaining a little mysterious to your date you will leave him wanting more. Unless at the first meeting there really was chemistry, don't prolong the first few dates. Long dates can put a strain on both of you, unless the chemistry is really there and time flows easily because you are having a good time.
Don't talk about your ex-boyfriends and don't ask your date about his ex-girlfriends. The information revealed by either of you will most likely be what the other person does not want to know. He may not wish to call you for another date. He does not need to know your life's history on that first date. Get to know him first as much as that is possible, asking him about his likes and dislikes and letting him know about your likes and dislikes. We all want love in our lives and when it comes to love, men don't want to be rushed. If there has been more than one date, take the time to get to know the person, enjoy the company, to some of us, love comes slowly.

If you're new to the whole phenomenon, in the spirit of speed dating, I'll give you the quick version. It's a dating event that gathers an equal number of single men and women to go on anywhere from 10 to 30, 3-8 minute "first-dates".
Speed dating is ideal for singles short on time and also a great segue to the dating scene for those who have been out of the dating game for a while.
One of the great things about speed dating is it's low on pressure. Typically held at bars or lounges you can kick back a few drinks prior to the event so as to relax the nerves. If you blow it on the first few dates, you have a quite a few more dates to refine your material and get it right. There's also no pressure of being asked point blank for your digits. Daters are instructed not to exchange or ask for contact details during or after the event. They instead log-on to the website where they registered for the event and "click" on any daters they are interested in seeing again. They in turn can see if anyone indicated interest in seeing them again requiring a mutual interest prior to moving forward for date two.
Many scientific studies have come to the conclusion that first impressions and instincts are more often than not correct, making speed dating, which has you assess an individuals "date ability" in a matter of minutes a concept founded on existing principle.
Regardless of what people are saying, speed dating is definitely something one should try at least once. Even if you don't meet "the one", you very well could get a lead on your next job, apartment, or maybe meet a new friend that could quite possibly introduce you to your next great love. Building Trust in Relationships
One crucial component in any productive relationship is trust. Without it as a supporting pillar, no relationship will stand. In any relationship where trust exists, both parties experience real happiness and joy, coupled with emotional balance. But building trust in relationships takes time, commitment and hard work. In this article, I will share with you some tips on building trust in relationships.
There is truth in the statement: "Honesty is the best policy". Trust would not exist in any relationship where honesty is scarce. One "small lie" would lead to several other "small lies" because you would keep trying to cover them up. That is why it is important to display honest from the very beginning.
Being honest at all times, especially as it concerns to your relationship, is important. You may reason that some subjects are better kept secret because the truth might cause more harm than good. But why did you not consider this before indulging in the dishonest act? Think twice before you act, otherwise you may be tempted to keep hiding secrets and be insincere.
Another barrier to building trust in relationships is want of proper communication. The very success of a relationship depends on communication. Whereas it is easy to sit down and watch the television, to communicate properly requires time and effort. The television can also serve as a way of escape when there is misunderstanding or hurt feelings. Instead of seeking solution to problems that may arise, some partners have chosen to clam up and watch television. This is harmful to the relationship.
To preserve a sound relationship, strive hard to open the lines of communication. Make it your aim to discuss problems immediately, except when emotions are high. Bear in mind that communication is a two-way thing: you talk and your partner listens, he talks and you listen. Doing this without needless interruptions shows that you have respect for the opinions of your partner, thus building trust in your relationship.
One other element that helps in the establishing of trust in relationships is empathy. If you are able to place yourself in the shoes of your partner, you would warm your partner's heart. So even if you disagree on some issues, you will be able to solve them together in love. Doing things together helps build relationships.
The gains of a relationship where trust exist are real felicity, joy and emotional balance. You would enjoy them if you take the time and effort required to build a healthy relationship. Remember, honesty, proper communication and empathy are key ingredients in building trust in relationships.

When this happens, you will come across as being fraudulent because you would have displayed a misleading appearance. You are unique, so just be yourself. Nothing is better than originality; your uniqueness.
There is so much fun in dating and it can be rewarding too. When applied properly, these dating tips for teens would help in experiencing the joys of being with that someone special.

Online Dating Can Be A Boon For Youngsters
My name is Larry. Do you know how I met my favorite date? It was through online dating. My life on the dating scene has been full of experiences; both happy and sad. I have met many girls on these sites. With some, I enjoyed having a great time for about 6 months or more and with some, it didn’t even lift off the ground. But I have always been fond of finding partners through the internet. You never know when you might meet Ms. Right. Well, this time I seem to have found my girl. Her name is Joanna. She lives with her parents a good hundred and ten mile from my house.
We met through online dating. Joanna had seen my profile and had sent me a message. She seemed to be a good looking girl and so I wrote back to her. Her hobbies included mountaineering and bungee jumping. She was more of the adventurous sort. Although I was not into these sports but I liked watching them. Baseball was more to my liking. In fact, she came visiting the first time on the day I had a baseball match with another college. I just had time to welcome her and make her sit in the gallery. Throughout the match, my eyes were on her. She seemed to be enjoying herself. I played exceptionally well that day and our college won the match.
We went to a nearby restaurant to celebrate. She had to return back home so we finished the celebrations in a hurry. We spent some time talking about our hobbies and our studies. We signed off by promising to meet again. After about a few weeks, she invited me to watch her in a bungee jumping contest for charity. I jumped on the opportunity. The game was already underway when I reached the place. I waited until they called out her name. And then somehow my heart was in my mouth. I was surprised to find my heart beating faster than normal. When she jumped from that great height, I was praying that everything went well.
Well after that day, I never ventured going to another of her bungee jumping contests. We kept up our online dating and reaching out to each other over the great distance which separated us. It was a great cause of anxiety for us also that we could not meet frequently. We had our stolen moments at a friend’s house near her house. The more we met, the more grew our necessity to be with each other. But the problem is that both of us are studying in college and we need to complete our studies and get absorbed in good jobs.
Meanwhile, our online dating continued unabated. We thought the time had come to get introduced to our respective parents. I was very nervous the day I met her parents. But they seemed to be warm-hearted people who talked and joked a lot. They seemed to be happy with me but prompted me to finish my studies in time.
This has been the story of my life so far. Online dating has been a lot of fun for me and I am waiting to see what the future has in store for me.

Online Dating - The Best Single Dating Tips
You may not find the right person from now, or is newly divorced and want someone to share the adventure of life with which to proceed. What can be frustrating is that the only data that can be very difficult, especially with a lot of people out there in the market that could be less than honest, or who may not have the same values or goals as you. For this reason, you should ask some intelligent questions when no one new date. No sense wasting your time with the wrong man or woman.
One of the first questions to ask while dating is only if someone is really unique. This may seem a silly question, but there are more cheats that you can make. You do not want to get involved with someone like this for two very good reasons. The first is that they will never be able to give attention and energy you deserve, and the other is that they are unreliable. If they are cheating on you, who will deceive you. This also happens with the fact that somewhere, someone else might be affected by their actions. Say no and find someone to date only one who can really be yourself and your world.
When you know someone is free to be with you to go alone, you can feel optimistic that he may have found someone great. While you should never pin your marriage or long-term relationship in hopes someone on the first date, you can get a good feeling about someone in a single day of early dating.
Go with your gut instincts about a person. They seldom steer you in the wrong direction. If your intuition tells you that they are not hiding anything, then you can make sure they are compatible in the areas of life directions, objectives, and even if that religion is important to you.
There are many ways to go on single dates today, and some are opting to go on the Internet to see if you can find someone there. Alone can be difficult to appointments within their own community, as it may be difficult to implement the right person at the right time. Remember to use the same line when data warned. Make sure someone is single, make sure they are a good fit, and hear the bells of warning to any who may leave. Have fun with online dating, but be safe first.

How To Kiss
Most men want to learn how to initiate the first kiss. Before you can kiss a girl you need to be sure that she is ready to kiss you.
Here are few ways to find out if the girl wants to kiss you as well:
1. Gently stroke the hair of this girl and see how she responds.
2. Hold her hands and gently squeeze them.
3. Slowly brush her arm looking into her eyes.
Measure her responses to your moves. If she responds positively to two of those then you know she is ready to be kissed by you. Don’t expect her to do the same. She does not have to brush your arm, squeeze your hand or show any other form of affection to convey her feelings to you. As long as she does not object to your moves, you can safely assume she is ready to be kissed.
At this point take a step towards her or slowly pull her towards you. Then look into her eyes, slowly lean forward and gently kiss her on the lips. Start with a peck on her lips, followed by a longer kiss.
There is no need to pull back after you kiss her the first time. You could stay in the kiss position, take a look in her eyes and go for the long kiss.
It is possible that the girl may pull back when you go for the kiss even if she complied to all you tests.Don’t assume she does not like you or don’t want you to kiss her because she pulled back.
She might have pulled back because she was not expecting a kiss at that moment. May be you did not give her enough indicators to expect a kiss at that moment.
Go for the kiss right after the above three tests. It will reduce the chances of girl pulling back.
If the girl does not want you to kiss her she will tell you or walk away from you. If she does neither of those and continues to stay and participate you can conclude that she wants to be kissed by you.
Test it again by looking in her eyes, stroking her hair and brushing her arms. If she missed these signals the first time, she surely will notice them this time.
If the girl is comfortable with you touching her again than you know she sees you as a romantic interest and you can go for the kiss again. You should have no problem getting a good kiss this time for she will be expecting it.
Here are few extra tips:
- Make sure to use some breath fresheners or mint before you kiss the girl.
- Don’t go pouring your emotions on the girl after the kiss. It makes you appear needy and clingy.
- Shave your face if you plan to go for the kiss. You don’t want to scratch her face.
- Don’t try to kiss her in front of her friends when you kiss her the first time.
- Don’t fight, convince or put pressure on the girl if she is not comfortable kissing. It might happen later if you do not appear needy or clingy. It is ok if she does not want to kiss right now.
- You can make things a bit more romantic by holding her hands or hold her on the hips when kissing. You could also whisper something in her ears between breaks from kissing. Try playing with her hair. Most girls love it. Whisper and go back for another kiss. Make it a long one this time.
- Don’t be another guy who waits for the end of the date to initiate the kiss. Kiss her early so it does not come across by the book.
- Continue your conversation or activity after the kiss. You do not want to make things awkward after the kiss.

Two simple steps to a great relationship
It doesn't take a great deal in the way of time and rescources to improve your relationship. Here is a simple and often surprisingly speedy way to achieve this in just 20 minutes each day.
We all know deep down how much we love the people closest to us. The problem is we don't always show it Modern life is pressured and it's all too easy to get stressed. Over time having our life partner and other family members around becomes familiar and we don't always express how much they mean to us. This is understandable but undesirable.
I am often surprised even shocked at the way people speak and act in dealing with those closest to them. It's a fact that some people show more coutesy to strangers than their family members.
When this subject arises as it often does in my workshops or email feedback from my ecourse people often tell me that they behave like this because they feel that they can get away with it at home. This suggests that they are behaving in ways that would not be tolerated at their place of work or in other interpersonal situations.
It's a sad fact that these individuals are behaving in a worse manner around their families than almost anyone else they come into contact with!
Whilst their negative behaviour may appear to be tolerated it is resented and over time damages the relationships that are most precious to them. it's impossible to be on our best behaviour 24/7. We all at times say things that we don't mean?t mean to. The important thing is to show that we care so that our occasional lapses can be forgiven and forgotten. Those closest to us make lapses too of course. This means that they are able to understand that we are only human and sometimes get things wrong.
Psychologists know that there are two short intervals in the day when it is particularly important for a couple or family to enjoy a warm rapport. These are when we get up in the morning and when we return home at the end of the day.
A smile, a hug, a shared joke at these times will pay dividends in keeping your close relationships happy and healthy.
Finding a life partner is only the first step on the great adventure that you will share as a couple. It's equally importantant to keep your relationship happy and healthy. With care and attention you can have a relationship that not only stays happy and positive but gets better and better.

How To Find A Girlfriend That Really Matches Up To You
A lot of guys want to learn how to get a girlfriend and for many the process on how to get one eludes them. Some men come from a place of neediness, feeling incomplete or "like a loser" (as one of my readers once told me over the phone) if they do not have a girlfriend. If anyone is feeling that way then I tell them they are not ready to have a girlfriend. They first need to find out why they have this limiting belief. In reality, people should be content and happy by themselves and when they meet someone else, that person only adds to level on contentment and happiness. It is not healthy to place one's own happiness on another human being.
So the very first step to finding a girlfriend that matches up to you is to first work on yourself. Now what does that mean exactly? Does that mean you should not date anyone? Well, it depends on how much emotional stability you have. I advise men to get their "act together" first before diving back into the dating scene. Specifically, they should spend some time alone, like a weekend, and take out a notebook / journal / whatever you want to call it, and write down the things that are important to them and write down their goals in life.
Once that is all figured out then you can write down exactly the type of woman you will need to find to compliment those goals. As an over-simplified example, let us say that your goal is to travel the world for a couple of years. So you would want to find a woman has a similar goal or you should be single while you are traveling, this way you can hook up or have casual relationships that suit your needs. Once you have figured out what type of woman you want then you can begin looking for you. Now bear in mind that the more women you date, the more you will learn about yourself and about what you want in a woman.
I can tell you from my own life experience that what I thought I wanted in a woman at age 18 changed a lot when I turned 21 and changed even more when I turned 30. Why? Because of life experience. This is why I am not a big fan of falling in love with the first person that likes you and then getting serious with them. I truly believe that most men should date an assortment of women and should not get married until they reach a certain maturity level. There is no magic age, but I generally recommend that men not get married before age 30. Ths increases the odds greatly that you will have a better understanding on what kind of woman you want.
The next step is to begin expanding your social network. Sometimes all it takes is making one or tow new male or female friends that will introduce you to a whole world of new faces. It's a good idea to have a life. So if you are the type of person that works too much it is time to take a step back and readjust your priorities. All work and no play really makes Jack a dull and boring boy. Women like men who have other interests and passions, so make sure you find out what yours are.
Once you begin dating, with the intent of getting a girlfriend, make sure that you are spending your time wisely. For example, I once dated this woman and I thought everything was going well until about 3 months into it she demanded that we move in together. I told her it was too soon and that I would never think of moving in with anyone until I got to know them better. She got angry and said that if we did not take the relationship to the next level that she would leave. I told her "well, if you are going to be this immature about it then it is best that you leave."
She did not leave, but I made it a point to break it off with her. I do not respond well to unreasonable ultimatums. So do not waste your time with the wrong person, but all it is doing is keeping you from finding the right girlfriend for you.
